According to the Committee on Statistics of Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, as of August 1 the stocks of grains and pulses declined to 2.957 million tons compared to 3.35 million tons in July, including in agricultural organizations – from 964.2 thousand tons to 844.6 thousand tons.
In particular, as of the beginning of August the total stocks of Kazakh wheat were estimated at 2.3 million tons, including milling wheat at 2.1 million tons, for seeds – 57.1 thousand tons and for feed – 157.9 thousand tons.
The stocks of barley amounted to 451.1 thousand tons, rye – 11.67 thousand tons, oats – 38.6 thousand tons, corn – 45.8 thousand tons, rice – 60.6 thousand tons, buckwheat – 6.58 thousand tons and millet – 3.8 thousand tons. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
