The Cabinet of Ministers has channeled almost UAH 1.7 billion in subventions from the state budget into the socio-economic development of the regions.
“The government endorsed a decision to allocate almost UAH 1.7 billion within the program of socio-economic development of the regions. These funds will be allocated to meet the needs of the people, namely towards street light installation, insulation of educational institutions, purchase of equipment for hospitals and much more. We managed to preserve the funds within this program during the adoption of the state budget amendments,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal posted on Telegram.
The Prime Minister added that he instructed Minister of Communities and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov and the Ministry of Finance to check that these projects were financed and implemented on time.
As noted, the state budget for 2020 provides for a UAH 1.7 billion subvention for the socio-economic development of the regions. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
