In January-November the Freeport of Riga handled 30,040,600 tons of cargo, down by 9.4% YoY.
Transshipment of coal fell by 225.9%, to 9,593,200 tons, and oil products – by 10%, to 3,397,600 tons, while wood pellets grew by 21.6%, to 1,007,900 tons, and ore – by 6.8%, to 531,100 tons.
The port’s container throughput grew by 0.2%, to 428,156 TEUs.
In the reporting period passenger turnover decreased by 0.5%, to 805,546 people, including 69,207 cruise passengers (-7.5%). (PortNews/Business World Magazine)
