In July-October the production volumes of wheat flour in the Republic of Kazakhstan totaled 919 thousand tons, down by 16% YoY.
The high prices of raw materials, slowing down of sales of large-scale batches of grains by agrarians, as well as reducing of the demand of the major importers made its impact on the production and sales of the product.
In particular, in the current season the production volumes of wheat flour can reach 3.1 million tons, down by 8.7% YoY. At the same time, the exports will reduce by 23%, to 1.5 million tons, the experts said. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
