The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has registered the PayRun international payment system, the central bank’s press service has reported.
“The National Bank of Ukraine has harmonized the rules of the PayRun international payment system and included information about it in the register of payment systems, settlement systems, participants of these systems and operators of payment infrastructure services (hereinafter – the register of payment systems). The decision to that effect was made on December 2 by the committee for the supervision and regulation of banks’ activity, supervision (oversight) of payment systems of the National Bank of Ukraine,” the report reads.
The payment organization of the PayRun international payment system is PAYRUN LLC (Kyiv), which has NBU license No. 50 dated December 5, 2016, to transfer funds in national currency without opening accounts. The PayRun payment system has become the fifth international payment system in the Ukrainian market, created by a non-bank resident financial institution. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
