Antonov State Company, a part of the Ukroboronprom State Concern, will supply an An-178 aircraft to the Peruvian National Police and will service it within the warranty period specified in a respective contract, the concern’s press service has reported.
“Antonov planes have long proven their efficiency around the world. At the same time, Ukrainian designers are offering new solutions and new technology to meet the challenges of today. This contract has become a logical continuation of the An aircraft operation as the new An-178 will replace the An-32B in the police service,” the press service quoted Ukroboronprom Director General Aivaras Abromavicius as saying.
According to him, these arrangements will be the beginning of large-scale military and technical cooperation between the two countries. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
