The stress test of the largest Ukrainian banks, held by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), has estimated the additional need of financial institutions for capital from UAH 35.2 billion ($1.4 billion) in the basic scenario to UAH 73.8 billion ($3 billion) in crisis.
In the baseline scenario, the need for additional capitalization has been established in 11 banks, while in the crisis scenario, the need has been established in the same 11 banks plus another seven financial institutions, the NBU said in its report. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
