In January-June exports of Ukrainian agricultural products amounted to $10.3 billion, up by 18.6% YoY or by $1.6 billion, according to Acting Agrarian Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine Olha Trofimtseva.
“The foreign trade turnover of agricultural products reached $13.1 billion, or 25.1% of Ukraine’s total foreign trade turnover,” she said.
Ukraine continues to increase exports of agricultural products. The latest data gives every reason to hope for a new export record in 2019.
“The most important factors of good results are exports of grain crops (44.2%), oil (22.9%), and oilseeds (6%),” Trofimtseva noted.
The official noted that agricultural products were exported to Asian countries (41.9%), the EU countries (33%), and African countries (15.4%). (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
