Russia’s largest truck producer Kamaz more than quadrupled its truck production in Uzbekistan to 585 vehicles in January-June, Uzavtoprom said in a statement.
“UzAuto Trailer produced 585 trucks of Kamaz in the first half of 2019. It is 4.2 times higher than in the same period of last year,” the statement read.
Kamaz launched production at UzAuto Trailer in March 2018 with production capacity of 1,500 trucks per year. The company plans to raise the capacity to 3,000 vehicles in the future. (Prime/Business World Magazine)
