Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan says the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will propose that UAH 10 billion, or $389 million, be allocated in the draft national budget for 2020 for repairing local roads.
“The government envisages that the next year’s budget should have a Road Fund, which will include 100% of fuel excise revenue, and the parliament should support it. Moreover, there should be additional funding in the amount of UAH 10 billion for local roads. Their length is only about 25,000 kilometers across the country. Some 10,000 kilometers of which can be repaired with an annual funding of UAH 10 billion within five years,” he declared. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
