On June 25-27 a delegation of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE) headed by Mykhailo Lukashev made a working visit to Qatar.
According to the press service of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar, a number of opportunities and proposals of Ukrainian companies in construction, metallurgy, IT and agriculture sectors was presented to the Qatari officials, as well as promising joint activities for the nearest future were outlined.
The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding business cooperation between Ukraine and Qatar and agreed to intensify the exchange of visits between entrepreneurs of both countries.
During the visit, with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar, the Ukrainian delegation held meetings with Vice President of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industries Mohammed bin Tuwar Al-Kuwari, and Head of the Qatar Businessmen Association Sheikh Faisal Bin Qasim Al Thani, who also was the owner of the largest private industrial-investment holding company “Al Faisal Holding”.
