In Lviv region, Zakhidnyi Bug Agrocompany has begun sugar beet sowing.
This year, more than 8,2 thousand ha of sugar beet are planned to be sown.
KWS, Strube, BetaSeed, Florimond Desprez, Hilleshog, SES Vanderhave beet seeds are used for the sowing campaign. The average beet yield planned for 2019 reaches 65 ton/ha.
Every second ton of sugar beet, grown in Lviv region in 2018, belonged to Zakhidnyi Bug. And the beet yield of the company was three times higher than on the whole of Ukraine. (Ukrsugar/Business World Magazine)
