The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan recapitalized Rosinbank and doubled its authorized capital, official website of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Following the capitalization, the authorized capital of Rosinbank OJSC was increased by more than 700 million soms and brought to 1,498.7 billion soms.
“The National Bank conducted financial recovery measures for Rosinbank, within the framework of which additional capitalization of the bank was carried out. This was done to ensure the stability of the activities of Rosinbank OJSC and the banking system of Kyrgyzstan as a whole, and to strengthen public confidence in it,” the National Bank stressed.
Earlier, the National Bank acquired 5,604,844 common inscribed shares of Russian Investment Bank OJSC. This is 71.65% of the share capital of the bank. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
