Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that a record high number of roads was repaired in Ukraine in 2018.
“The year 2018 has seen a record high number of repaired roads in Ukraine: 3,800 km of both national and local loads have been repaired thanks to the launch of the Road Fund,” he wrote on Facebook.
He also mentioned a number of large-scale infrastructure projects implemented in 2018.
“Among them are the launch of the Beskidy Tunnel, the delivery of General Electric locomotives, and the launch of an express train to Boryspil Airport,” Poroshenko wrote.
Summing up, he said that “such success stories are a great incentive to keep up the pace of transport infrastructure development in 2019.” (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
