In 11 months of 2018, Kyrgyzstan exported 24,600 tons of dairy products, the Director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety Kalysbek Zhumakanov announced.
According to him, the export of dairy products has almost doubled compared to January-November 2017.
“Last year, we exported 14,700 tons to the EEU countries. This year, our entrepreneurs have started selling milk to Uzbekistan, having exported 500 tons,” Kalysbek Zhumakanov noted.
The export of mutton increased by 6%, reaching 624 tons. In total, 1,500 tons of meat has been exported abroad.
In 2018, at least 38 new enterprises from Kyrgyzstan have entered the unified register of the Eurasian Economic Union. It includes 66 domestic companies. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
