The Export Credit Agency (ECA) may start working in the fourth quarter of 2018 if its funding is increased by UAH 80 million.
“We need UAH 80 million more to take legal and organizational measures needed to launch the agency. For the last six months we have been insisting on the stipulation of the indicated sum in the amendments to the budget for 2018,” First Vice Prime Minister – Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv said at the presentation of Ukraine’s export brand.
Kubiv also noted that Ukraine’s state budget for 2018 set funding for the agency to the tune of UAH 200 million. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
