SZAO BelGee intends to have increased car output up to 1,400 cars per month by the end of the year, the company’s Acting Director General Gennady Svidersky reported.
At present BelGee makes 50 cars every eight-hour shift or 1,000 cars per month.
The executive said: “From the point of sales we have to raise the output at this stage because the demand exceeds the available manufacturing capacity. By the end of the year we intend to raise the output up to 1,400 cars per month or 70 cars per shift. We’ve already hired the extra workers and are training them to operate modern equipment.”
Gennady Svidersky stressed that BelGee preferred making quality cars to reaching high output figures. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
