The state-run railways operator JSC Ukrzaliznytsia may raise fares for passengers by 25% (+/-3%) in 2018-2019 and by 30% (+/-3%) in 2020-2021 annually.
Such a forecast is given in the outlook for the social and economic development of Ukraine in 2019-2021.
Freight transportation rates may also soar by 25% (+/-3%) in 2018-2019 annually. According to the forecast, their growth in 2020-2021 will slow to 20% (+/-3%). (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
