Kyrgyzstan plans to export meat to China, the Director of the State Inspection for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety Kalys Zhumakanov announced.
Earlier Kyrgyzstan and China signed a memorandum on the creation of a zone free from foot and mouth disease.
According to Kalys Zhumakanov, an agreement on joint struggle against transboundary diseases will help export agricultural products.
“Foot and mouth disease greatly hampers international trade. The memorandum will open the way for signing other agreements on the export of meat, powdered milk and honey,” he explained. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
