Ukrainian nuclear power plants (NPPs) produced 186.01 million kWh of electricity on May 20, the press-service of Ukraine’s State Enterprise “National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom” reports.
On May 21, 9 out of 15 power units were functioning at the Ukrainian power plants. It was the 72nd day of average planned repairs at power unit No. 3 and the eighth day of average planned repairs at power unit No. 5 of Zaporizhzhia NPP. Also, it was the 165th day of average planned repairs at power unit No. 3 of Rivne NPP, the 102nd day of average planned repairs at power unit No. 2 and the 45th day of average planned repairs at power unit No. 3 of South-Ukraine NPP.
In addition, at power unit No. 1 of Khmelnytskyi NPP, it was the 48th day of maintenance works.
Radiation, fire-prevention and ecological state on industrial sites of NPPs are within normal limits. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
