The agricultural output in Belarus’ enterprises of all categories in current prices reached Br3.4 billion in January-April, up by 1.5% YoY in comparable prices, the National Statistics Committee reported.
The agricultural enterprises manufactured Br3.3 billion worth of products, up by 2%. The enterprises of all categories produced 607,400 tons of livestock and poultry (live weight), up by 0.8%. The output of milk was 2.337 million tons (up by 2.4%).
As for agricultural organizations, livestock and poultry output amounted to 576,500 tons (live weight), up by 1.3%. Milk output made up 2.265 million tons, up by 2.7%.
As of May 1, the cattle population amounted to 4.3 million head, up by 0.7%, including 1.4 million cows (up by 0.2%). (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
