CEO of Ukraine’s state-run military-industrial concern Ukroboronprom Pavlo Bukin says Ukrainian enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the past three years exported military products to India to the tune of about $400 million.
Mykolaiv-based Zorya-Mashproekt alone sold gas turbines worth $200 million to the Indian Navy for its warships, the concern’s press service said.
“In 2017 SpetsTechnoExport alone signed new contracts totaling over $35 million. Every year the company delivers products worth $65 million to India on the average,” the press service quoted Bukin as saying.
The most promising areas in military-technical cooperation with India are aircraft repairs and modernization of aircraft fleet, joint development of aviation equipment, the promotion of Ukrainian high-precision weapons, and joint communications projects, Ukroboronprom said.
