Ukraine will reach the GDP level of 2013 in the next three to four years, Ukrainian Deputy Minister for Economic Development and Trade Mykhailo Titarchuk has said.
“In fact, as for the loss of GDP in 2014, this figure is 15.75%. We understand the reasons – Donbas, temporary loss of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. However, we calculated two scenarios, such as returning at least to the GDP level of 2013. In principle, it is possible in the next three to four years,” he said.
Titarchuk added that according to the first “budget” scenario it was possible in 2021 and according to the second one – in 2020.
He noted that the reforms that were now being conducted by the authorities could not show the desired result in the first year. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
