The Belarusian haul truck manufacturer BelAZ exported some 96% of its output in January-November, representatives of the company reported.
BelAZ products were shipped to 28 countries. The company exported about 96% of its output, with the export growth rate at 188%. The company exported more products to every region: Russia (182.1%), other CIS states (215.5%), and non-CIS states (178.2%). Shipment volume rose by 89.3%. The total carrying capacity of the sold haul trucks was nearly doubled – from 50,400 tons to 92,000 tons. The increase was fueled by good sales of large-capacity trucks: 276 vehicles up from January-November 2016.
Basic-capacity haul trucks (110-130 tons) accounted for 42.8% of the shipments in January-November. They were followed by 220-240-ton trucks (14.4%) and 90-ton trucks (13.2%). BelAZ also exported more bulldozers, frontal loaders, irrigation machines, and prime movers, up 3.7-fold YoY. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
