Ukraine in January-October increased electricity exports by 38.9% (by 1.245 billion kWh) YoY, to 4.449 billion kWh, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry has reported.
Energy supplies from the Burshtyn TPP energy island towards Hungary, Slovakia and Romania increased by 13.5% (by 318.3 million kWh), to 2.683 billion kWh.
Electricity deliveries to Poland decreased by 11.8%, to 736.8 million kWh.
Electricity deliveries to Moldova amounted to 1.029 billion kWh against 3.7 million kWh in the first ten months of last year.
Ukrainian electricity was not exported to Belarus and Russia in January-October 2016 and 2017.
At the same time, export of Ukrainian electricity in October amounted to 267.4 million kWh, down by 27.7% (102.6 million kWh) YoY. This is due to the resumption of commercial exports to Moldova from April. (Interfax-Ukraine/Business World Magazine)
