Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman believes the goal for 2018 is to achieve economic growth in the amount of 5% of GDP.
“We need a quality economic environment, we need investments that will allow us to grow rapidly in 2018. Our goal is more than 5% of GDP. This is what is achievable, something that will make the development of our economy quite tangible,” Groysman said during the national meeting “The strategic directions of machine building development in Ukraine: from regional initiatives to the national industrial policy” in Kharkiv.
He added the draft national budget for 2018 foresaw the growth of 3% of GDP.
The prime minister stressed the importance of growth of exports of Ukrainian goods.
“We are constantly working today to expand the sales market. And it is very important to make our machine building complex one of the leaders,” Groysman said. (Interfax-Ukraine/Business World Magazine)
