In August Latvian airline airBaltic carried 386,597 passengers, up by 21% YoY.
For the third consecutive month the airline has been steadily exceeding its passenger transport results. In the first seven months of 2017, the airline carried a total of 2,345,371 passengers to destinations in Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
In August, the airline performed 4,799 flights, up by 15% YoY. In the first eight months of 2017, airBaltic performed 33,059 flights.
Seats in airBaltic planes were 85.8% full in flights performed in August. Seats were 77.7% full in flights performed in the first eight months of 2017, which is the highest index in the airline’s history.
airBaltic’s 15-minute index was 85.1% in August. This means that 85 out of 100 flights departed on time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes. (BNN/Business World Magazine)
