International reserves of Kyrgyzstan rose by almost $30 million in August. Such data were presented by the National Bank of the country.
According to the results of August, gross international reserves amounted to $2.91.65 billion. This is the highest figure since October 2015.
The National Bank spends international reserves on smoothing sharp fluctuations of the national currency rate. In August, there were no significant changes in the rate. The regulator has not entered the currency market since July 21. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
