In January-May Belarus’ export of goods and services went up by 20.6% YoY, to $13.553 billion, according to the website of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
In January-May Belarus’ foreign trade in goods and services amounted to $26.841 billion (up by 18.1% YoY). Export of goods and services totaled $13.553 billion (up by 20.6%); import made up $13.288 billion (up by 15.7%). Belarus had a $265.3 million foreign trade surplus.
Belarus’ foreign trade in goods grew up by 21%, to $22.487 billion in January-May. Export of goods totaled $10.784 billion (up by 23.2%), import totaled $11.703 billion (up by 19.1%). The deficit made up $918.7 million.
In January-May Belarus’ foreign trade in services was $4.353 billion (up by 4.9% from the same period of last year). Export of services amounted to $2.768 billion (up by 11.3%), import came at $1.584 billion (95.4% as against the same period of last year). Belarus had a $1.184 billion surplus in foreign trade in services in January-May (up by 43.2%). (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
