The US investment fund Navigator Principal Investors LLC plans to invest nearly $100 million in the development of the Ukrainian ports and agriculture, the head of the fund Kyle Shostak declared.
“We are looking at the ports and agriculture. There are not so many ports in Ukraine. We keep an eye on Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kherson and large agricultural producers,” he said.
According to Shostak, the fund plans to invest in private companies with profitableness from 15%.
He added that Ukraine had a great need for investments.
“Ukraine is working hard enough attracting investors. Especially in infrastructure projects. Of course, I am worried about any news on resumption of the hostilities. This is the main problem,” he said.
Navigator Principal Investors LLC is the investment fund headquartered in New York. It mainly focuses on investments, primarily on the European market, as well as in Latin American and Asian countries with a strong sovereign rating. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
