Ukraine’s gross domestic product (GDP) in the first quarter of 2017 increased by 2.5% YoY, according to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service’s updated assessment.
The agency earlier published its preliminary assessment on May 15, where it estimated GDP growth in the first three months of 2017 at 2.4%, which was 0.1% down on the new one.
The statistics service simultaneously confirmed its preliminary assessment of GDP growth in Q1, at 0.3% against the previous quarter.
Ukraine’s nominal GDP in Q1 was UAH 583.9 billion, which was UAH 13,721 per capita, it said.
The agency said the data for the first quarter of 2017 is subject to further revision, and an updated report is due in March 2018, while the final one will be published in March 2019.
Reports from occupied areas in Donbas and Crimea are not included. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
