Ukrainian enterprises in May imported gas at an average price of UAH 5,507, or $208.38 per 1,000 cubic meters, down by 10.2% MoM, according to the website of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
In January the price of gas imports was $229.51 (UAH 6,033), in February some $246.88 (UAH 6,682), in March some $248.13 (UAH 6,669) and in April some $232.17 (UAH 6,235).
Earlier Naftogaz Ukrainy CFO Yuriy Vitrenko noted that the average customs value of imported gas published by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade was not representative.
In addition, according to the ministry, the actual price of oil and condensate, which is used in calculating royalties, in May was UAH 9,916 per ton.
In January the actual price of oil and gas condensate was UAH 10,507 per ton, in February some UAH 10,616 per ton, in March some UAH 9,803 per ton and in April it was UAH 9,916. (Interfax-Ukraine/Business World Magazine)
