President Petro Poroshenko underlines the efficiency of the experiment initiated by him to allocate half of unscheduled revenue from customs duties for construction, restoration and reconstruction of roads in Ukraine.
This has been reported by the press service of the Head of State.
“Repair and construction of road in Ukraine is among the top priorities for me. And this is a concern for an absolute majority of Ukrainians,” Poroshenko said.
The president also plans to see the first results of his experiment on allocation of half of unscheduled revenue from customs duties for reconstruction of roads in Ukraine.
According to the Head of State, more than 88 million UAH were allocated to the road construction over the past year. At the same time, only in the first four months of this year, Ukrainian customs have already allocated more than 4 billion UAH for roads.
“And when Odessa region, instead of PR, started working, its customs has provided 1 billion 200 million UAH. This figure indicates that road construction in Odessa region will be finally restored,” the president said.
Petro Poroshenko is confident that this is the result of fruitful and effective teamwork of all state bodies and local authorities. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
