China is a promising market for Belarusian ice cream. Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov made the statement as he was made familiar with the progress of SOOO Morozproduct’s retooling campaign in Pukhovichi district, Minsk region on May 12.
According to the Belarusian head of government, Morozproduct is a successfully operating enterprise that has been modernized. New lines have been installed, and the manufacturing of new products has been mastered. In addition to maintaining its presence on the home market the company can now export merchandise. Sales opportunities in Russia have been reduced somewhat but there are prospects of selling Morozproduct ice cream in Europe and even South America.
Andrei Kobyakov said: “We believe that China can become one of the strategic areas for selling the merchandise. And we will help penetrate the market. This ice cream can really sell well over there.” (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
