In 2017 the share of rapeseed planted areas (winter and spring) in the general structure of crop planted areas in Belarus will rise to 7.5% against 3.9% last year.
Thus the planted areas of winter rapeseed for the harvest-2017 totaled 352.7 thousand ha, and the planned areas for spring rapeseed total 86.2 thousand ha, which significantly exceeds the general figures of 2016 (229.1 thousand ha).
It should be noted that Belarus increased the oilseed planted areas for the first time in five recent years. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
