Transfer of Ungar-Too station is out of question, the director of the State Committee for Information Technology and Communications Bakyt Sharshembiev said.
According to him, the conversation was about the construction of another station in the same area to amplify signals.
«At the moment the station on Ungar-Too is operating normally,” Bakyt Sharshembiev said.
In spring 2016, the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan established a checkpoint on the road that belonged to Kyrgyzstan in the border area in Aksy district, later on, the soldiers of the neighboring country had left the post. One of the causes of the incident was the mountain Ungar-Too, on which the radio relay station of Kyrgyzstan is situated, and the mountain is the subject of cross-border dispute between the two countries.
