Dairy farming in Belarus has achieved a high level of industrial development, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy announced.
“Industrial development of dairy farming in Belarus has achieved a high level. There are 4,115 farms in Belarus, and around half of them are highly modernized. Dairy farming in Belarus boasts a high degree of automation. We sell 90% of the milk produced,” Mikhail Rusy stressed.
He pointed out that one of the objectives of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) was to remove technical barriers to mutual trade.
“Russia and Belarus have a common market, and we need to be able to reach agreements, develop a coordinated policy both for the market of the EEU and those of third countries. Belarus is open to cooperation, willing to share its best practices, and ready for constructive work in all areas,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
