According to Kazakh statistics committee, stocks of grains and legumes in all the enterprises as of December 1, 2016 were 16.64 MMT against 15.87 MMT on the same date in 2015 (+4.8%).
Wheat stocks increased by 1.4%, to 13.37 MMT, which included 11.15 MMT of milling wheat and 898.8 KMT of feed wheat, as well as 1329.2 KMT for seeds.
Barley stocks on the reporting date were 2 MMT, up by 15% YoY, corn – 191.2 KMT, rice – 312.9 KMT, rye – 36.8 KMT, oats – 249.9 KMT, buckwheat – 63.4 KMT, millet – 43.2 KMT. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
