Belarus’ proceeds from fresh/chilled beef export totaled $258.863 million in January-October, down by 10.9% YoY, Belstat said in a report.
Belarus exported 87,510 tons of fresh and chilled beef in January-October, up by 2% YoY.
Almost all beef was exported to Russia – 87,422 tons (up by 2.3%) worth $258.681 million (down by 10.7%).
Cheese exports grew by 5.8% to $564.838 million and 173,300 tons (up by 15.2%). This includes 170,500 tons of cheese exported to Russia (up by 14.6%) worth $554.367 million (up by 5.2%).
Belarus’ proceeds of milk and condensed cream exports fell by 10% to $380.427 million. All in all, 178,500 tons was exported, including 164,400 tons (down by 10.5%) worth $356.842 million (minus 9.1%).
In January-October Belarus exported 71,381 tons of butter (down by 4.8%) worth $250.347 million (up by 10.8%), including exports to Russia – 69,075 tons (down by 5.8%). (Prime-TASS/Business World Magazine)
