The project is being implemented jointly with Chinese investors. The plant’s design capacity will be 300 KMT of oilseeds a year. The facility is aimed at making products for export.
Kazakh sunoil exports to China increased over the past three seasons, from 1.3 KMT in MY 2013/2014 to 9.3 KMT in MY 2015/2016, and they already total as much as 1.4 KMT in the first two months of MY 2016/2017 (September-October).
