According to the official customs figures, in July-October the exports of Kazakh wheat increased by 22% YoY and totaled 1.1 million tons.
Uzbekistan became the largest country-importer of Kazakh wheat and purchased nearly 50% of the reporting grain volumes.
During the first four months of the current season Kazakhstan exported 0.7 million tons of wheat flour, up by 19% YoY. Afghanistan became the largest country-importer of Kazakh flour – 64% of the volumes. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
