As of November 1, the registered carry-over stocks of grains and pulses in Kazakhstan totaled 18.84 million tons (up by 4.3 million tons MoM), the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported. In particular, peasant and farming households stored 4.411 million tons of grains.
Wheat formed the major share of the general grain stocks – 15.003 million tons, including 12.87 million tons of milling wheat, 978.9 thousand tons of feed wheat, and 1.149 million tons of wheat for seeds.
Corn stocks totaled 203.03 thousand tons, rice – 349.56 thousand tons, barley – 2.336 million tons, rye – 39.04 thousand tons, oats – 277.32 thousand tons, buckwheat – 76.81 thousand tons, millet – 42.85 thousand tons, and mixture of spiked grain crops – 285.57 thousand tons.
