In 2016 the profitability of agricultural production is expected to reach 41.8%, down by 3.8% YoY, the Director of the National Scientific Center “Institute of Agrarian Economics” Academician of the NAAS Yuri Lupenko declared.
In particular, the level of profitability in plant growing commodities production will decline by 1.7% YoY, to 48.9%.
The profitability of livestock commodities production will almost halve YoY and total 11.3%.
The reporting figures formed under the influence of the breakthrough growth in prices for material and technical resources and the services consumed in animal husbandry, compared with the growth of prices for products of the industry, Lupenko explained. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
