Kazakh and South Korean presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Park Geun-hye discussed the expansion of cooperation in the energy sector and the possibility of implementing joint projects in oil and gas processing.
The discussions took place in an expanded format meeting in Seoul on November 10, Kazakh presidential press service said.
The parties also discussed the medical tourism and the possibility of creation of a free trade zone between South Korea and the Eurasian Economic Union, and a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including trade and economic, financial, investment, transport and communications, research and technical cooperation.
The Korean side expressed great interest in the prospects of transit-transport cooperation.
The sides also exchanged views on topical issues of international and regional agenda, including nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, global security and the threat of cybercrime. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
