In 2017 Russia will keep the general grain harvest at the level expected for the current year – 113-116 million tons, the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev declared.
In accordance with the State program, in 2017 it is planned to produce 107 million tons of grains. However, the Ministry will try to keep the harvest at the current year level, or even increasing the results, Tkachev said.
At the same time, he reminded that in 2016 the expected grain harvest in Russia (113-116 million tons) would break a record for the country for 25 recent years. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
