As of the end of the high season of 2016, International Airport Irkutsk provided services to 1.24 million passengers. According to the company’s press service, the passenger flow during the holidays reached ca. 600 thousand.
The number of international flights reached 141.1 thousand, up by 13% YoY.
Irkutsk is connected by direct flights with 10 countries of the world.
JSC International Airport Irkutsk started the independent business operations in April 1992 following a spin-off from the Irkutsk united air group. On March 1, 2011, federal state unitary enterprise Airport Irkutsk was restructured as JSC International Airport Irkutsk. The government of Russia owns 100% of the shares in International Airport Irkutsk.
In 2015, the passenger throughput of Irkutsk airport decreased by 1.1% YoY to 1.694 million from 1.713 million.
RAS net profit of JSC International Airport Irkutsk for 2015 grew by 3.28% to RUB 369.487 million from RUB 357.748 million the year before. Revenue decreased by 5.15% to RUB 2.069 billion from RUB 2.181 billion, sales profit – by 1.66% to RUB 452.742 million from RUB 460.397 million, pre-tax profit increased by 2.48% to RUB 463.629 million from RUB 452.39 million.
