On September 6-12, the seaports of Krasnodar Krai (Yeysk, Taman, Kavkaz, and Novorossiysk) shipped for exports 28 vessels with grains and by-products, at the volume of more than 511 thousand tons, including 21 vessels with wheat – over 407 thousand tons, the territorial administration of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) in Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Adygea reported.
In the reporting period, the region supplied grain commodities to16 countries: Bangladesh, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Italy, Yemen, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, etc.
Also, Rosselkhoznadzor specified that to date, seaports continued loading barley, corn, chickpeas, peas, flaxseed, milling of 3- and 4-grade wheat on vessels, at the volume of more than 391 thousand tons. The cargoes are bound for Bangladesh, Lebanon, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and South Korea. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
