Russia will finish construction of its part of a railroad bridge across the Amur River to China in mid-2018, the Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov reported.
China has already finished its part of the bridge.
The project should have been implemented in 2017, but the new term is 2018, Sokolov said. The project was moved from the deadlock thanks to Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev’s rulings.
Necessary actions were also taken through the Russian Direct Investment Fund.
“The contractor has launched works at the site. The contract has been signed. We will accelerate the work to make up for the lost time in order to finish construction as soon as possible”, Sokolov declared. (Prime/Business World Magazine)
