The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation stressed the deficit of capacities for grain storage in the Siberian region. Therefore, the Ministry plans to sell old crop grains in the form of humanitarian assistance or through any other channel, the Director of the Department of regulation of agricultural markets at the Ministry of Agriculture Vladimir Volik said.
The Director on industrial and commercial activity at the United Grain Company Alexei Chemerichko confirmed that there was a problem with the infrastructure for grain storage in Siberia.
According to him, Omsk region demonstrates the most significant problem.
