In June Russia produced 321.7 KMT of sunflower oil against 300 KMT in May and 222 KMT in June 2015. Over the whole season (September-June) sunflower oil production reached the level of 2014/2015 MY and equaled 3426 KMT. Sunflower oil has the share of 80% in the total vegoil production (4264 KMT).
In June soybean oil production reached the highest volume in the current season – about 61 KMT. Since the beginning of the 2015/2016 season Russia produced 10% more soybean oil than in 2014/2015, in particular 528.5 KMT against 478.1 KMT.
In June 2015/2016 rapeseed oil production was the lowest over the last 3 seasons and equaled less than 8 KMT. Total volume produced over the 2015/2016 season production squeezed by 15% (347.4 KMT against 406.9 KMT). (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
